LED Signs & Daktronics
Galaxy GS6 and GT6x displays for monument, pylon, and high-rise installs — backed by 19 years of Daktronics dealer experience.
Explore LED signsA high-rise Daktronics LED display engineered into a complete architectural signage program — structural steel, custom dimensional letters on mesh panels, an aluminum trellis accent, and the LED itself. One contract, one crew, one accountable team.
Dennis+Ives needed more than an LED display. The brief was for an architectural signage program at high-rise scale: a Daktronics LED that would deliver photo-quality content visible from blocks away, custom dimensional letters integrated into a mesh-panel architectural feature, a structural steel column that could carry the load and survive Florida wind events, and an aluminum trellis that tied the whole thing back into the building's design language.
The challenge wasn't the LED. The challenge was making one contractor responsible for everything around the LED — and having the structural, fabrication, and electrical chops to actually deliver it.
CG Signs designed and engineered the complete program in-house. We fabricated the steel support column to the structural drawings, mounted the custom dimensional letters on mesh panels with engineered brackets, built the aluminum trellis accent in our Orange Park shop, and integrated the Daktronics high-rise display as the centerpiece — running a single permit, a single install, and a single warranty across all of it.
The result reads like a single object instead of four contractors' worth of seams. Which is the point.
CG Signs has been a Daktronics dealer since 2007 with 50+ local installs. Dennis+Ives is one of the most architecturally integrated of those projects — a high-rise display engineered to feel like part of the building, not an add-on.

Before the LED could go up, the building had to be ready for it. Below is some of the structural and fabrication work CG Signs delivered as part of the same package.
A Daktronics Galaxy display engineered for high-rise viewing — sealed-in-silicone construction, photo-quality graphics, integrated Venus Control Suite and Verizon LTE.
Florida-engineered steel support column to carry the load and survive Florida wind events. Custom mesh panel system as the mounting surface for the dimensional letter feature.
In-house fabricated aluminum trellis ties the LED into the building's architectural language. Custom dimensional letters with engineered brackets complete the identity.
